Member and employer online accounts will be unavailable on Saturday, May 2 between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. while enhancements are completed to support added security (Multi-Factor Authentication) to our online systems.

Added Security for Your Employer Account

Relying on just a password isn’t as secure as it used to be and makes accounts much easier targets for hackers.

You can now add an extra level of security to your PEPP Employer account to keep your information more secure.

Modern account security

Using a second level of security on your PEPP Employer account is like adding an extra lock. Even if someone gets your password, they still can’t log in.

A small extra step for you makes your account harder to break into.

How does this work for your PEPP account?

Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) ensures the person logging into your account is really you, by using your password and a second authentication method to confirm your identity.

PEPP uses authenticator apps for this added security. They're a proven technology that are more secure than text or email authentication as they are the hardest to compromise.

We recommended enabling this option now.

Extra security, quietly in the background

Once it's set up, your account has an extra layer of protection every time you sign in — with a few extra moments to enter a code.

Other reasons to add security:
  • Protection even if your password is leaked elsewhere. If your password is exposed through another website or service, added security keeps your account safe.
  • Protection against phishing. If someone tricks you into sharing your password through a fake email or website, they still can't sign in without your 6-digit code.
  • Works alongside your phone's security. Keep your phone locked with a PIN, fingerprint, or face ID. Your authenticator code is then protected by whatever secures your phone.
