Roger Brandvold, Chair
Appointed in 2023
Roger retired at the end of 2019 after 25 years dedicated to the Investment Management Industry. He served as Senior Vice President and Partner, Connor, Clark & Lunn; Senior Vice President, Greystone Managed Investments; and VP and National Sales Manager, CIBC Wealth Management. He currently serves as Director, Information Services Corporation, and his previous board experience includes terms as Chair of the Board of Governors of the University of Regina and the Saskatchewan Roughriders, and as a Director, Board of Governors of the Canadian Football League. Roger holds his Certified Investment Manager designation and his Professional Director certification from the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy.
Christine Virostek, Vice-Chair

Christine was appointed by the Saskatchewan Crop Insurance Corporation (SCIC), Saskatchewan Cancer Authority and Workers Compensation Board. Since 2019, Christine has been SCIC’s Executive Director of Accounting. She was previously the Director of Finance at Parkland College. Christine is a Chartered Professional Accountant and has a Business Management Degree from the University of Lethbridge.
Darcia Connelly

Darcia was appointed by the Government of Saskatchewan Public Service Commission. They are PEPP’s largest single employer. She serves as Senior Crown Counsel in the Ministry of Justice and Attorney General, Civil Law branch. She joined the Ministry in 2008. Darcia has a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Regina and a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Saskatchewan. She is a member of the Law Society of Saskatchewan.
Ryan Dionne

Ryan was appointed by Unifor, Canada’s largest private sector union, which has approximately 4,000 members in the Crown sector in Saskatchewan. Ryan is a Field Service Technician with Sasktel, where he has worked since 2005. He sits on the board for SaskTel’s Centennial Registered Retirement Savings Plan, and has a diploma in Computer Engineering Technology from Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
Jim Engel
Appointed in 2018
Jim was appointed by Saskatchewan Polytechnic and the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA). Jim retired as SLGA’s Vice-President of Corporate Services and Gaming Operations in 2020. He currently serves as an Executive in Residence at the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy. He has graduate and undergraduate (Honours) degrees from the University of Regina. Jim serves on the boards of the Responsible Gambling Council of Canada and United Way Regina.
Genny Goodyear

Genny Goodyear is a Health Information Practitioner and has been employed at the Saskatoon Cancer Centre for 39 years. She is the Vice President of SGEU’s Health Sector and holds a seat on Provincial Council- SGEU’s governing body. Genny is currently working towards her Advanced Trust Management Standards Certificate through the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
Mason Kaun

Mason was appointed by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 2067. There are approximately 2,000 members. The majority are in PEPP.
Troy King
Appointed in 2023
Troy King is the Executive Vice-President and Chief Strategy, Technology and Financial Officer at SaskPower. He has worked at SaskPower since 1996 and has held various leadership roles with the Corporation. This includes Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer as well as Director of Corporate Planning and Controller. Troy holds a Business Administration degree from the University of Regina and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA). Troy is also the Chair of the Power Corporation Superannuation Plan Board and is the Audit Committee Chair of the Board for the Hospitals of Regina Foundation.
Nancy Seman
Appointed in 2020
Nancy was appointed by the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) 600. They represent 250 social services workers in Saskatchewan. Nancy has worked for the Government of Saskatchewan for almost 40 years. She dedicated her career to individuals with disabilities. Nancy is currently part of the Autism Spectrum Disorder Individualized Funding program. She also is a member of the Joint Board of Trustees of the Extended Health Care Plan.
